Plant Description:A West Australia species. This banksia is a medium shrub with long serated leaves, can reach to 3 metres in height and up to 3 metres in width. Banksias are a very popular garden plants in Australia because of their large, showy flower heads, and the large amounts of nectar they produce, attract birds to the garden. They may need extra water during dry spells until established. When fertilising, only use a slow-release, low-phosphorus fertilizer. Will respond well to a little pruning to keep shape.

Flower Description:Large, woolly flower spikes are produced , color is gray to orange/brown.

Best Uses: Native garden designs, Flower arrangements can also be planted into a large container.
