Common Name:  Sceptre Banksia.

Best Position:  Prefers full sun, moist but well drained soil.

Plant Description:  A dense spreading shrub growing to six metres in height. The leaves are long and narrow oval-shaped with fine serrations on the edges. You can find this Banksia on the west coast of Western Australia from around Geraldton to Shark Bay.

Flower Description: Banksia sceptrum is the most striking yellow flowering banksias of all. Its tall yellow spikes are displayed through out our summer months.

Best Uses: Good to use in coastal, cottage and bush garden designs. It is a popular flower used by florist, also used as a dried flower.
